He began his career at 17 as a VFX artist for music videos and an assistant on local film sets before studying Cinema & Television – Writing and Directing. As the founder of Magos Digital, a VFX and animation studio, Rezik leads innovative projects across film, television, and commercial productions. His expertise in directing, visual effects, and animation allows him to craft visually striking and emotionally resonant narratives. Throughout his career, Rezik has directed several short films and worked as a VFX generalist on acclaimed feature films, including the Oscar-nominated Omar (2013), Villa Touma (2014), This Beautiful Fantastic (2016), and the Oscar-nominated The Stranger (2021). He has also directed music videos for prominent Palestinian artists, including the hip-hop group DAM. Beyond filmmaking, Rezik directs commercials, seamlessly integrating cinematic storytelling with high-end visual effects to create compelling brand narratives. His work frequently explores themes of identity and community, particularly within the Palestinian experience. His latest film, Borek (2020), examines the complexities of Palestinian identity from the perspectives of those living within Israel and those in exile.
